Lower Keys Women's Club Nursing Scholarship

FALL 2020 Priority 2 Deadline

The Lower Keys Women’s Club provides scholarships to Monroe County, degree-seeking nursing students accepted into The College of the Florida Keys Nursing Program. Eligible students must have a complete 2020-21 FAFSA, a GPA of 3.0 or higher, and meet standards of satisfactory academic progress. Award is for $1,000 and students must meet a minimum of 8cr hours for the award term. Scholarship monies can be used toward tuition and fees at The College of the Florida Keys for the upcoming semester.

Scholarship Recipients are also required to:

1. Confirm registration in courses at The College of the Florida Keys in the term in which the scholarship is to be used.
2. Complete a minimum of 10 hours of volunteer service with the Lower Keys Women’s Club and/or The College of the Florida Keys Foundation and/or approved charity if requested. (Details will be sent separately if/when applicable.)
3. Attend the Annual College of the Florida Keys Scholarship Recipient & Donor Social at the Tennessee Williams Theatre on the William A. Seeker Campus in Key West during the Fall semester. The event typically occurs in September and details will be distributed when confirmed.
4. Demonstrate and maintain the scholarship criteria and requirements.

**The Foundation reserves the right to withdraw or modify the student’s award based on the student’s fulfillment of required scholarship criteria.
