RAVE Scholarship

FALL 2024

The RAVE Scholarship is awarded to full-time, degree-seeking students currently enrolled at The College of the Florida Keys who fall under one of the below listed demographics. Student is a:
1. Single Parent (mother or father)
2. Displaced Homemaker (homeless)
3. Academically Disadvantaged (learning disabled as documented by a physician or counselor)
4. Physically Disabled (documented by a physician)
5. Non-traditional Student

Eligible students must have a complete 2024-25 FAFSA, a minimum overall GPA of 2.5 and meet standards of satisfactory academic progress.

The value of the scholarship can be up to $1000 and the student must be enrolled full-time in at least 12 credits.

Funds may be used towards tuition, matriculation fees and lab fees.

Scholarship recipients are also required to:

1. Confirm registration in courses at The College of the Florida Keys in the term in which the scholarship is to be used.
2. Complete up to 4 hours of volunteer service with The College of the Florida Keys Foundation and/or approved charity if requested during the semester. (Details will be sent separately if/when applicable.)
3. Attend the Annual College of the Florida Keys Scholarship Recipient & Donor Social at the Tennessee Williams Theatre on the William A. Seeker Campus in Key West during the Fall semester. The event will occur on Tuesday, September 24th, 2024. Invitations will be distributed closer to the event.
4. Attend other scholarship recipient recognition event(s) and/or activities as requested by the scholarship donor if applicable.
5. Demonstrate and maintain the scholarship criteria and requirements.

The Foundation reserves the right to withdraw or modify the student’s award based on the student’s fulfillment of required scholarship criteria.
