Edward C. Hummell Scholarship

SUMMER 2024

The Edward C. Hummell Scholarship is a need-based scholarship available to degree-seeking or certificate-seeking students. Eligible students must have a complete 2023-24 FAFSA and meet standards of satisfactory academic progress. Students must satisfy a minimum of 6 credit hours for the awarded term and maintain a 2.75 GPA. The value of the scholarship is $500. Funds may be used towards tuition & fees at CFK for the upcoming semester.

Scholarship recipients are also required to:

1. Confirm registration in courses at CFK for the term in which the scholarship is to be used.
2. Complete a minimum of 8 hours of volunteer service to the CFK Foundation and/or approved charity if requested. (Details will be sent separately if/when applicable.)
3. Attend the Annual CFK Scholarship Recipient & Donor Social at the Tennessee Williams Theatre on the William A. Seeker Campus in Key West during the Fall semester. The event typically occurs in September and details will be distributed when confirmed.
4. Attend other scholarship recipient recognition event(s) and/or activities as requested by the scholarship donor if applicable.
5. Demonstrate and maintain the scholarship criteria and requirements.

The Foundation reserves the right to withdraw or modify the student’s award based on the student’s fulfillment of required scholarship criteria.
