The Edward B. & Joan T. Knight Nursing Scholarship

Edward and Joan Knight were a dedicated couple who deeply believed in the power of charity, and how their gifts of time, talent and treasure could transform lives and organizations. The focus of their philanthropy is to encourage family values, inspire leadership, and promote youth in our wonderful Key West community. Each Edward B. & Joan T. Knight Nursing Scholarship will provide tuition & fees up to $15,000 for the Associate of Science in Nursing program at The College of the Florida Keys. Applicants must be committed to completing the two year program at The College of the Florida Keys, and must agree to work a minimum of 16 hours per week at $19.00 per hour in the skilled nursing facility at Poinciana Gardens.

To be accepted for the scholarship, the applicant will apply for a position at Poinciana Gardens, complete an interview and facility tour, and meet all hiring criteria. Visit cffk.org/nurse for more information.
